The model of geochemical anomaly in uranium deposit in MS massif and its significance for uranium exploration

Description

The geological and geochemical characteristics in the middle section of MS granific massif is analysed. By determining the uranium indicator elements, the characteristics of geochemical primary halos and secondary halos are analysed and the model of geochemical anomaly for uranium deposits is set up. The application of this model in the new area shows that very good results can be obtained in uranium exploration by using 'anomaly model'. A new series method for calculation of elements' zoning-generalized contrast value is also presented. The practice proved that, compared with Grigorian method, generalized contrast value method can reflect objective law better and make calculation easier
