The ratio GAMMA(B->Dlν)GAMMA(B->D*lν) in the quark model

Description
Using the non-relativistic quark model and including perturbative QCD corrections to first non-trivial order, we find that exclusive semileptonic decays of bottom mesons satisfy 0.3 < GAMMA(B -> Deν)/GAMMA(B -> Dsup(*)eν) < 0.5. For charmed meson decays, no corresponding prediction can be made for the ratio GAMMA(D -> Kdeltaν)/GAMMA(D -> Ksup(*)deltaν) other than that K dominates over Ksup(*), whereas for top decays Bsup(*) dominates over B.
