High energy collision in QCD as diffusion and heterotic pomeron
Description
The two-dimensional transverse nature of high energy scattering is explored leading to a description in terms of diffusion processes. The large-Nc cylinder structure is clarified, i.e., closed-string like picture, which provides a basis for a unified treatment of high energy hadronic collisions in QCD. (author)
