Information about influence of the Bohunice V2 NPP on the environment, December 2006

In this paper results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the Hron River as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V2 NPP are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within December 2006 were: 0.48 MBq of aerosoles, 0.066 MBq of iodine-131, and 735 GBq of rare gases. For the period January - December 2006 these radioactive effluents into atmosphere represented 80000 MBq (0.019% of annually limit (AL)) of aerosoles, 65000 MBq (0.031% MBq of AL) of iodine-131, and 2.0 TBq (0.519% of AL) of rare gases. The radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River within December 2006 were: 96.6 GB of tritium, and 1.10 MBq of corrosive and fission products. For the period January - December 2006 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represented 4556 GBq (22.8% of AL) of tritium; 33.68 MBq (0.26% of AL) of corrosive and fission products. Dose equivalents rate for the villages in effluents are also reported. NPP in January 2007 are published. Chemical effluents are also reported.
