Description
A search for optical pulsations from Cen X-3 was carried out on eight nights. No signals with power >0. 15A).2 percent were detected at the 4.8 X-ray pulsation frequency to a 99.9 percent confidence level. Somewhat larger upper lirnits were obtained over a wide range of frequencies and for data collected through narrow-band filters centered at interesting optical features. Subject headings: pulsation - X-ray sources
