Description
As part of a general laboratory cleanup of hazardous materials from the accelerator enclosures the authors have replaced the liquid scintillator based paint can type beam loss monitors with improved loss monitors based on plastic scintillator. This paper describes the design of these counters and their performance in the PBAR source
