COP21: Five measures France must adopt
Description
France has a special responsibility as president and host of COP21. This responsibility does not end with its ability to facilitate international negotiations. To be credible with its international partners, the French government must take 5 exemplary actions: 1 - Rapidly boost the development of renewable energies and set a target of 100% by 2050; 2 - Coal: Putting an end to state pollution; 3 - Adopting a tax on financial transactions for climate and health; 4 - From carbon price signals to the adoption of a real climate-energy contribution; 5 - Making alternative mobility solutions to the car accessible to all
