Stopping cross sections of liquid saturated alcohols for swift protons
- 1. Kyoto Univ., Dept. of Nuclear Engineering, Kyoto (Japan)
Description
Stopping cross sections of liquid saturated alcohols have been measured for swift protons by analyzing energy spectra and angular distributions after passing through the liquid target. Monte Carlo simulation with GEANT4 has been performed to reproduce experimental results by taking account of multiple small-angle scattering. Present results are about 20% smaller than the vapor data of SRIM. (author)
