Description
The study of the 557.7 nm line profile of Oxygen perturbed by Argon is resumed using a semiclassical close coupling formalism. The radiative and collisional couplings are explicitly included and their effects are discussed. Comparison with the former quantum mechanical close coupling calculation by Julienne lay stress on the importance of trajectory effects
