Electrooptical system for shaping of laser pulses with limiting emission contrast
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Fizicheskij Inst.
Description
A nanosecond laser pulse system formation with high-contrast electrooptic Kerr shutter, which makes it possible to produce light pulses with the front duration up to 0.5 ns and with the degree of contrast K >= 106, is described. The system is applied in the ''Del'fin'' power 12-channel laser device. At the exit of the system of linear preliminary cascades of intensification a light pulse has been obtained with the energy of approximately 50 J at the duration approximately ns
