Risk assessment methodology for water transport networks
Description
Water supply systems are essential infrastructures for the provision of sufficient and good quality drinking water for all. For this reason, the World Health Organisation has been actively working in the last decades on developing specific Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality (e.g. WHO, 1984; 2011). Along this processes, the potential of implementing water safety plans was highlighted.
