Lyotropic metallomesogens based on nonionic surfactant and lanthanide nitrates

Description
Structural properties of lyotropic liquid-crystal systems on the basis of nonionic surfactants, i. e. decaethyleneglycol monododecyl ether (C12EO10) and europium(III) nitrate hexahydrate, were studied by the methods of polythermal polarization microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray phase analysis. Potentiality of supermolecular (2D) arrangement of lanthanides in lyotropic hexagonal mesophases in a wide range of temperatures (from -5.8 to 89.7 deg C) and concentrations was shown

Методами политермической поляризационной микроскопии, дифференциальной сканирующей калориметрии, ИК-спектроскопии и рентенофазового анализа изучены структурные свойства лиотропных жидкокристаллических систем на основе неионогенного поверхностно-активного вещества - монододецилового эфира декаэтиленгликоля (C12EO10) и гексагидрата нитрата европия(III).
