Control computer system for a proton cyclic accelerator

Description

Results are briefly presented on substantiation and realization of the control computing system of a cyclic proton accelerator for 1 gev energy. A block diagram of the system is given, ensuring rational utilization of computing devices. Application of similar ''DNEPR-1'' computers enhances reliability of the system, ensures flexible distribution of problems between the computers, lowers service cost. The operation efficiency of the system is high because of the prompt communication of two ''DNEPR-1'' computers with a high-performance BESM-6 computer. Technical realization of the system is a single interface which ensures a prompt information exchange between the computers
