MR-angiography using multiple spin-echo images
- 1. Osaka Univ. (Japan)
Description
We are reporting on a simple MR-angiography using images taken by the conventional multiple spin-echo (MSE) sequence. This method is based on the principle of even-echo rephasing and odd-echo dephasing of flowing fluid. In present work, the calculated image, which has the same TE as the 2nd-echo, is synthesized from the 1st-echo and 3rd-echo images. MR-angiography is produced by subtracting the calculated image and 2nd-echo image. Phantom study is carried out with the continuous flow system. Preliminary application to the lower extremities of healthy volunteers is also reported. (author)
