Differential inelastic scattering cross section measurements on 93Nb using TOF technique
Creators
Description
The time-of-flight(TOF) spectrometer, developed recently at channel 3 of the IRT-5000 reactor, has been used for neutron inelastic scattering measurements. Diffrential inelastic scattering cross-section for the excited states at 744 (712+), 808 (512+), 810 (512-), 950 (1312+),980 (1112+), 1082 (512+), 1315 (312-) and 1335 (1712+) KeV states 93Nb have been measured relative to the 847 (2+) state in 56Fe. The measurements were performed at twelve angles in the 25 degree-150 degree angular range relative to the incident neutron beam, for approximately 1300 hours reactor time
