Solution of transport problem in a finite medium with directional dependence cross-sections
Creators
Description
The integer-differential equation relevant to particle transport through anisotropic, homogeneous, finite medium is transformed to Fredholm integral equation. The integral equation is then reduced to a system of linear algebraic equations using the projection method. In all the analysis the cross-sections appear as functions of direction. Numerical results are given for the reflection and transmission currents in the special case when the cross section. 2 tab., 4 fig
