The low energy gamma determination of 235U, 238U, 226Ra and 232Th contents in uranium ores is discussed, A simple and precise method for sample self-absorption is presented. The better analytical accuracy and precision for the determination of 235U, 238U, or 235U/238U in uranium samples are achieved
