Description
Precision radiotherapy has existed since the 1950's in the form of stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) which is the accurate delivery of a single fraction of radiation to stereotactically defined intracranial targets. The cost of commercial systems are high as are the costs of medical physics support because of the time involved in commissioning these systems, quality assurance and treatment planning
