Corrections to Feshbach resonance calculations

Description
The Feshbach optical-potential formalism yields resonance parameters which may differ slightly from those usually defined. By employing the definition of resonances in terms of poles of the analytically continued S matrix, corrections are derived which reconcile the two sets of parameters. These corrections are illustrated using a simple, solvable scattering model
