Correlation study and search for shockwave phenomenon in 16O-emulsion interaction
Creators
- 1. Jadavpur Univ., Calcutta (India). Dept. of Physics
Description
The two-particle correlation among the secondary particles produced in 16O-emulsion interactions at 2.1 GeV/c/n has been investigated. A strong correlation was observed both among the slow particles and among the showers, the former indicating the generation of shockwaves. Azimuthal correlations were also studied. (author)
