Low temperature magnetic field and temperature transducers on the base of telluride microcrystals

Description

Thermosensitive and magnetosensitive resistor transducers for cryogenic temperatures were developed on the basis of microcrystals of Te, Te-Se, PbTe, PbSnTe semiconductors. Overall dimensions of the transducer sensors are (1-5)x(0.05-0.2)x(0.05-0.2) mm. Starin measurement and magnetoresistive characteristics of the transducers at cryogenic temperatures are given. A weak dependence of transducer parameters on the temperature is pointed out, it simplifies the work of the transducer. Te(Te-Se) magnetosensitive resistor transducers can be used to determine the vector of magnetic field intensity, since there is a considerable difference between longitudinal and transverse magnetic resistance. Small overall dimensions and simple type of approximation dependences are advantages of the transducers described
