National Strategy for Energetic Research. December 2016 - Synthesis. Decree of the 21 December 2016 bearing publication of the national strategy of energetic research (JORF nr 0300 of the 27 December 2016)

Description

After a presentation of the context (a world and European vision of energy transition, ambitious national objectives), and of the process of elaboration of the French national strategy for energetic research (SNRE), this publication presents the four main strategic orientations: to aim at key transforming thematics and dynamics for energy transition (priority to energy savings and strategic resources, evolution of systems for a diversified energy mix, proposed actions), to develop R and D and innovation in relationship with territories and the industrial tissue for a successful energy transition (international stakes, to comfort the performance of present energy sectors which are already leaders or display a high export potential, to favour the emergence of high performance industrial sectors to accelerate energy transition, proposed actions), to develop abilities and knowledge for and by R and D (to comfort a high level research national community, to contribute to information and training, proposed actions), and to create a light governance for a dynamic operational steering of the SNRE (implementation of a dedicated governance for a periodic SNRE assessment, identification and consistency of R and D financing, support and follow-up tools). A decree then contains propositions for these different orientations and objectives, and the same text.
