Description
A general method of the synthesis of peri-hydroxysubstituted β-diketones of naphthalene series, based on regrouping of 1-acetyl-4-methoxy-8-aroylhydroxynaphthalenes under the action of LiH in dimethylsulphoxide, is developed. Ways of cyclization of these compounds are considered. Cyclization in the perchloric acid presence runs as a formation of a five-member cycle
