Were shock waves observed in nuclear collisions

Description

The possible formation is discussed of collective motions of ,.he type of a shock wave in the nuclear collisions at high energies. Comparison of experimental data with the calculations in the framework of the cascade-evaporation model is presented. An analysis of the angular correlations and of the angular distributions of particles gives no evidence for the nuclear matter collective motion, which may be associated with a shock wave
