Interpretation of the standard draft TGL 190-920 'Operation of nuclear power stations - principles of nuclear safety'
Description
Preparation contents, and demarcation from other regulations or laws are described. On the basis of the requirements stated in the standard it is elucidated how to ensure nuclear safety of a nuclear power station with pressurized water reactors and what is to be understood by safe operation of a nuclear power station. Some contentious terms and requirements are discussed in detail, and reasons are given for the formulations chosen in the draft. (author)
