Description
Solubility in zirconium oxychloride-hafnium oxychloride-water system at 25 and 50 deg C was studied by the method of isothermal saturation with the use of X-ray fluorescent analysis for Zr and Hf content. Technique for investigating solubility in water-salt systems according to the amount of nonvolatile components in saturated liquid phases of heterogeneous mixtures of the known composition, is suggested on the basis of cross-section method. The technique is illustrated by zirconium oxychloride-hafnium oxychloride-water system at 25 deg C. 8 refs.; 6 tabs
