Description
We have studied inclusive reaction 14N + p → X + anything at 7.4 GeV and have measured the differential cross sections for the production of Li, Be, B, and C fragments at six production angles. The data are discussed in terms of the derived transverse momentum distribution. The partial production cross sections are derived and compared to the data presently used in cosmic-ray propagation calculations. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Es wurden die inklusive Reaktion 14N + p → X + alles moegliche bei 7,4 GeV studiert und die differentiellen Wirkungsquerschnitte fuer die Erzeugung von Li-, Be-, B- und C-Fragmenten bei sechs Erzeugungswinkeln gemessen. Die Daten werden anhand der abgeleiteten Verteilung fuer die transversale Impulskomponente diskutiert. Die partiellen Erzeugungsquerschnitte werden abgeleitet und mit gegenwaertig bei Ausbreitungsrechnungen fuer kosmische Strahlung benutzten Daten verglichen. (orig.)Additional details
