Description
Hot spring areas are attractive places for locals and foreigners either for excursion or for medical purposes such as for healing of various types of diseases due to the high contents of salts, sulfur and sulfate. In view of this fact, a hot spring water collected from the Madkot, Munsyari, Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand was analyzed to determine the concentration of various elements like Na, K, Ca, As and Br, and ions like F-, Cl-, PO4-3 and SO42-.The temperate and the pH of hot spring water were found to be about 50°C and 6.2 respectively
