Face-type NaI-detector efficiencies for low-energy γ-rays
Description
The efficiency values for 2 x 2 in. and 3 x 3 in. face-type NaI crystals, considering extended disk and volume sources and also taking into account the self-absorption in the source, have been calculated. The calculations cover the energy region of 10 to 150 keV, the diameters of the sources are 2.0 cm and the heights 0.1 and 1.0 cm. The source-to-detector distance is 0.4 cm in all cases. The results are presented in tabular form. (U.K.)
