IR absorption spectra of some thorium compounds with nitrogen-containing ligands
Description
It was shown by infrared spectroscopy that the oxalato-groups in the compounds Th(C2O4)2 2H2O 4C4H9NH2(I), (C4H9NH3)2Th2 (C2O4)5 10C4H9NH2(II), and [(C4H9)2NH2]2TH2(C2O4)5 (C4H9)2 NH 2H2O are bidentate. The infrared spectrum of [(C3H7)2 NH2]2Th2(C2O4)5 (C3H7)2NH is similar to the spectra of Th(C2C4)2 6H2O and (H3O)2Th2(C2O4)5 5H2O, in which the state of the oxalato-groups is close to ionic
