Nuclear consultant - a new profession

The nuclear field is an area fraugh with particular difficulties for industries, banks, public authorities etc. in acquiring the precise knowledge needed for decision making. This gap can be filled by the activities of nuclear consultants; in view of the size of the market which, in Europe, probably involves a capital investment by far exceeding DM 100 billion, chances are promising. These consultant activities include technological problems as well as economics, organization, strategy, and training in nuclear technology. Of course, the consultant staff must have broad and specialized knowledge. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Der geplante Ausbau der Kernenergie, der in Europa bis 1985 Investitionen von weit ueber 100 Mrd. DM erfordern wird, bedeutet fuer weite Bereiche der Industrie und der gewerblichen Fetrigung, Banken usw. einen entsprechenden Markt und bringt ebenso grosse und vielfaeltige Anforderungen an Behoerden, Jurisprudenz, Legislative usw. In vielen Faellen fehlen die fuer Entscheidungen auf diesem Gebiet noetigen Unterlagen und Spezialkenntnisse. Hier hat die Kernenergieberatung ihr Arbeitsgebiet, das sich von der Technologie ueber Wirtschaftsfragen, Organsiationen und Strategie bis zur kerntechnischen Schulung erstreckt.
