A review of the methods used for the measurement of thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH)

Previously used methods for identifying and measuring TRH are reviewed. The question as to the specificity of the TRH radioimmunoassay is addressed and the necessary criteria for distinguishing between TRH and TRH-like substances are presented. (Auth.)
