Passivation of fluoride in an acidic solution of actinides
Description
The corrosiveness of fluoride containing acidic solutions of U or Pu was suppressed by complexing the F in form of (SiF6)2- via passage through a container with glass wool or glass helixes. The acidic solutions not containing free F- or HF can be processed in a glass or steel apparatus. (orig./PW)
