Description
Point-focusing Johansson Ge monochromator crystal designed for Cu Kα radiation and 333 diffraction condition with a radius of curvature of 300 mm is presented. The crystal was prepared by a hot plastic deformation at a temperature very close to the melting point of Ge. Good crystal quality and precise deformation provided excellent focusing. A merit of using linearly polarized and well focused X-ray is demonstrated by fluorescence measurements. (author)
