Impact of fluorine orientation on the optical properties of difluorophenylazophenyl benzoates liquid crystal

Description
Highlights: • The position and direction of fluorine atoms caused a great effect on LC phase. • UV–Vis spectrophotometer modulated can be used as a detector of LC phase transitions. • Birefringence and order parameter can be determined by modulated spectrophotometer. • Optical properties varied and measured with different temperatures.
