Description
A large amount of security data in the pretreatment area are able to be verified by IHVS in the absence of inspector. The construction, development history and experimental results of IHVS for monitoring of nuclear materials in the fuel feeding cell, fuel shearing cell and hulls drumming cell are reported. IHVS is able to verify these cells by using camera and radiation monitoring systems. The camera and radiation detector (CRD) was developed by putting the radiation detector and camera in the tube without contamination by radioactivity. Verification is carried out by IHVS and evaluation by IRS (Integrated Inspector Information System) and VIDR (Video Review) in the I3S (Integrated Inspector Information System) in the inspector room. Objects and construction of IHVS, CRD, the optical surveillance system, and the radiation monitoring system are explained. (S.Y.)
