Voltammetric investigation of vanadium(5) in sulfuric acid solutions using platinum rotating disc electrode

Description

The voltammetric behaviour of vanadium (5) on platinum has been studied as a function of the hydrogen-ion and depolarizator concentrations, mass transfer, temperature, and pre-treatment of electrode. The diffusion and diffusion-adsorption mechanisms have been established by investiation of the polished and electrochemically pre-treated platinum, respectively. Certain kinetic and energetic parameters are calculated. The conditions of the vanadium (5) determination in the presence of vanadium (4) are picked out
