Description
High profile international major public events often capture great public interest and receive intense media coverage. It is widely acknowledged that there is substantial threat of terrorist attack on major public events such as Olympic Games. It was the first time for China to host the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, a most welcome and widely participated major public event. Nuclear security arrangement was one of the most important components of the overall security plan, which has ensured the great success of this Event. The whole organizing work was very well recognized by the international community
