Some elements for a strategy toward thermonuclear fusion
Description
On the basis of today's experiments, mainly TFR-400, the structure of a possible scenario adapted to this type of machine has been developed. It covers a large cluster of experiments, all belonging to the medium line. From this scenario, a strategy in two steps toward ignition is proposed which provides an approach to the ignition domain in favorable conditions as compared to other possible approaches, both from the scientific point of view and the real cost.
