Use of membranes in vacuum techniques

Description

The purpose of this article is to give some examples of use of membranes for vacuum applications. The use of rubber membranes facilitates the construction of devices, gives them greater ease of use and a very reliable guarantee against leaks. The paper describes a vacuum and pressure valve, 60 mm and 100 mm channel valves and a bonding technique of rubber membranes on metal parts; test results are presented.
