Asymmetry of point-contact characteristics of RECu5 (RE: heavy rare earth) compounds

Description
We present the study of an asymmetry of point-contact characteristics of the heterocontacts RECu5-Cu (RE=Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Yb). Point-contact spectroscopy, in the case of normal metals, gives direct information about the electron-quasiparticle interaction (EQI). We have determined the asymmetry and have explained its origin within model taking into account the thermopower effects
