Description

A full one day ordinary diet including three meals, water, tea and other in-between snacks for five persons was collected as a sample of ''total diet''. The sample in a large stainless steel pan was carbonized carefully by direct application of gas flame, and was transferred to a porcelain dish and then ashed at 5000C in an electric muffle furnace. The results obtained from August 1979 to July 1980 were shown in a table. (J.P.N.)
