Sorption column for the separation of protactinium from a nuclear fuel solution
Description
Protactinium can be separated off from nuclear fuel solutions if one passes the solution through a sorption column of vycor glass. In order to enable a continuous process a formula is given which allows one to calculate the length of the column. The measures given in the example are 5.2 m length and 72 cm diameter. (UWI)

(UWI)Files
