Potentialities of percutaneous and transhepatic use of roentgenoendobiliary and angiographic techniques
Description
The experience with 400 cases of transparietal diagnosis and treatment was summarized and analyzed with respect to clinical goals, methodological aspects, policies and findings of the study conducted. The results of 170 cholangiographic examinations in patients with cholestasis demonstrate safety and high efficiency of the technique. Endobiliary therapy was especially effective in obstructive jaundice patients at high risk for surgical failure. The data on percutaneous intraparenchymal hepatography and venoportomanometry are analysed. Intraparenchymal hepatography, hepatic lymphography, venoportomanometry, puncture biopsy of the liver were pooled in a new one-stage method of hepatic tissue anesthesia, found efficient in 23 patients. Splenoportography and splenoportomanometry with thin needles and cannular were proved to be safe. Transhepatic cannula portography is of value in the diagnosis of apudoma
