Description
The authors consider the problem of vortex-antivortex pair dissociation in dirty two-dimensional type I superconductors. They show that their approach to the problem accounts for both aspects: quantitative agreement between theory and experiment is obtained for dirty samples, while the absence of vortex dissociation in pure samples follows quite naturally.
