Description
We consider a process KLe5 (KL→π0π0π±eminus-plusν) as a standard model background to the experiment KL→π0μ±eminus-plus, which seeks for the possible violation of lepton family number. Using the lowest order chiral Lagrangian, we find the branching ratio for KL→π0π0π±eminus-plusν to be 6.2x10-12. A similar decay KL→πminus-plusπminus-plusπ±e±ν has a branching ratio 1.7x10-11
