Disordered D-vector model: mean field renormalization group treatment

Description

The mean field renormalization group is applied to study critical temperatures of the quenched (F, AF and SG phases) and annealed (F and AF phases) disordered D-vector model. The phase diagrams, critical temperature against concentration are analytically calculated, plotted and analyzed for the Ising (D=1), Heisenberg (D=3) and D -> ∞ cases for several values of the competing parameter and coordination number for a particular distribution function. Reentrancies and limiting slope at pc of the ferro and antiferromagnetic boudaries are studied in detail. The present results are strictly equivalent to the exact results on the Bethe lattice. Abstract (Portuguese)

O grupo de renormalizacao de campo medio e aplicado ao estudo de temperaturas criticas de um modelo vetor-D desordenado torcido (fases F, AF e SG) e reforcado (phases F e AF). Os diagramas de fase, temperatura critica versus concentracao sao analiticamente calculados, plotados e analisados os casos Ising (D=1), Heisenberg (D=3) e D -> ∞ para varios valores do parametro de competicao e numero de coordenacao para uma dada funcao de distribuicao. Sao estudadas em detalhe as reentrancias e a inclinacao limite em pc para fronteiras ferro e antiferromagneticas. Os presentes resultados sao estritamente equivalentes aos resultados exatos na rede de Bethe. (M.W.O.)
