Description
Plasma-emissive processes under nanosecond vacuum discharges induced by picosecond laser beams and applied voltages (with moderate values of 240 V) were simulated on a computer. In particular, new results of numerical investigation of electrohydrodynamics of emissive centers called ectons, which are produced on the cathode surface by high density electric current with a preliminary elimination cathode by picosecond laser beams, were obtained. Principally new physical effects of current self-focusing (and defocusing) and generation of ''shooting solitons'' were observed. Based on the nonlinear phenomena considered, a new mechanism of charge particle generation from nuclei of quasi-stellar radio sources (QSS), radio Galaxies and stars is proposed.
