Limits of the nuclear viscosity coefficient in the liquid-drop model

Creators

Description

The upper and lower limits of the nuclear viscosity coefficient are estimated within the framework of the liquid-drop model. In addition, it is found that there is a critical fissility parameter above which all quadrupole vibrations are overdamped even at T approximately 0. (Auth.)
