Fabrication conditions, phase composition, physical and chemical properties of La2CuO4-Bi2CuO4 system samples

Description
La2CuO4-Bi2CuO4 system is studied. It is stated that at 0<x<=0.1 and 1.8<x<2.0 solid solutions exist between La2CuO4 and Bi2CuO4. When x=1.3-1.4, phases like solid solution (Bi2O3)1-x(La2O3)x and copper oxide dominate. With x growth up to 0.1 the sample conductivity increases almost by an order, but transition to superconducting state above 4.2 K is not detected
